Business Development Associate
As a Business Development Associate at Samer Khouzami, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our distributors, retailers, and wholesalers, ensuring seamless collaboration and maximizing brand impact. You will play a pivotal role in developing and nurturing relationships, implementing sales strategies, and acting as the brand ambassador to grow our presence in the beauty and retail industry.
RESPONISIBILITIES:
Relationship Management:
- Serve as the lead contact for all matters related to distributors, retailers, and wholesalers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships that reflect the brand’s values of trust and quality.
Account Development:
- Develop strategic partnerships with existing accounts to drive growth.
- Identify opportunities for expansion, new markets, and increased revenue streams.
Brand Representation:
- Ensure that distributors and retailers are equipped with up-to-date product knowledge and marketing materials.
- Represent the brand in events, training sessions, and industry forums.
Sales Execution:
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to meet company objectives and maximize profitability.
- Collaborate on co-marketing campaigns and promotional strategies to increase brand visibility and sales.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure timely product delivery, inventory management, and adherence to brand standards while working closely with inventory controller and audit departments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions to distributors and retailers.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Track key performance metrics to measure the success of partnerships and identify improvement areas.
- Prepare and present account performance reports to stakeholders.
Market Insights:
- Stay updated on beauty industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviors to inform strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering insights and feedback to help enhance product development and marketing efforts.
Customer Advocacy:
- Resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive experience for distributors and retailers.
- Champion the needs of distributors and retailers within internal teams to drive innovation and satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in account management, business development, or sales within the beauty and retail industry.
- A strong understanding of distribution networks and retail operations is essential.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical abilities, with proficiency in CRM software and MS Office tools, especially Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Passion for the beauty industry and a deep understanding of retail trends.
